Health Surveillance
Health surveillance is a system of ongoing health checks. These health checks may be required by law for employees who are exposed to noise or vibration, ionising radiation, solvents, fumes, dusts, biological agents and other substances hazardous to health, or work in compressed air.
A risk assessment should be used to identify any need for health surveillance, at Workwise we can provide a comprehensive bespoke Health Surveillance Programme to meet your businesses statutory requirements.

Management Referrals
Sickness absence case management helps to improve outcomes in sickness absence, rehabilitation, work related illness and injury in the workplace. The primary goal of occupational health case management is to assist with the return of the individual to maximal functioning capacity and maximal medical recovery – thus allowing a rapid and safe return to work if possible. Occupational health provides independent advice to managers and employees on: the health of people at work, fitness for work, health risks of the workplace, the occupational implications of risks to health that can occur at work and the ability of employees, through reasons of their health, to undertake the work.
Helping you with the management of absenteeism in the workplace and in doing so, reducing your costs, increasing employee productivity and decreasing the negative affects absenteeism can have on the rest of your workforce.
Management referrals can be delivered remotely by telephone assessments or face to face assessments. With escalation to an OHP if required.
Pre-placement questionnaires
Provides an efficient and cost-effective way for you to check whether an individual has any health problems that could be adversely affected by the work they’ll be doing, or which may affect their ability to perform the role effectively
Assists you to remain compliant with the Equality Act 2010 with advice provided on any workplace adjustments required for applicants who declare a medical condition.

Drug and alcohol screening can be carried out on your site. Before this screening can commence, you need to have a suitable Drug & Alcohol policy in place.
We use an associated specialist drug & alcohol screening company to provide full chain of custody screening service.
DSE
Supporting wellbeing through Display Equipment Assessment and workstation assessments. We offer workstation assessments as required by the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment Regulations) 1992.
